are also soliciting early ideas in the form of short 2-page position papers<br>
and abstracts describing demos. Any topic related to <span class="gmail-il">VLC</span> is in scope and<br>
welcome.<br>

Position papers: We seek short descriptions of early-stage research ideas<br>
in general, but in particular those that point to future directions for the<br>
field, novel applications (especially killer apps for <span class="gmail-il">VLC</span>), or identify<br>
technologies that are ready for market adoption. The last case can be<br>
thought of as pitching a startup idea and making arguments for market<br>
adoption, though not a full business plan.<br>

Demos: We welcome any demos of research prototypes, new applications, or<br>
testbed setups.<br>
<br>
Manuscripts should be submitted to the same HotCRP website for full<br>
workshops paper. Position papers should have the titles prefixed with<br>
"Position:...", and demo abstracts should have the titles prefixed with<br>
"Demo:" Please follow the formatting instructions for the main conference,<br>
except that both position papers and demo abstracts are limited to 2 pages,<br>
including any figures and references.<br>
