<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">The Health and AI lab (HAIL) at Stevens Institute of Technology is seeking a postdoctoral researcher interested in working at the intersection of causal inference and nutrition. We are part of the CS department
at Stevens but work across many domains to advance human health. The position is funded through NIH's new $170 million Nutrition for Precision Health initiative. HAIL is part of the world's first AL and computational modeling center for precision nutrition
and health. Over the next five years HAIL will lead causal inference of the data collected in this program, which will include a diverse set of data (dietary intake, -omics, social determinants of health, etc) on 10,000 participants across the US. The project

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">We are a highly collaborative and diverse lab with 7 current PhD students who all contribute different skills and perspectives. No experience in nutrition or health research is necessary, only a willingness
to learn about the domain. We encourage candidates of all backgrounds to apply, and particularly encourage candidates with nontraditional research paths, or from backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in CS to apply.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
