Hi everyone,

personally, I love the idea of the one minute session as it
will give the doctoral researches a platform to sortly introduce
their research and present themself. However, I have absolutely
no idea how this could fit into the program.

I asked the PC chairs if it might fit into a joint plenary
session that was planned. I will contact you in case of any

Dear all,

we won't have time in the one minute madness but we might
have poster slots. We considered this options and some
colleagues will check the location on Tuesday to see how
many poster walls we can place. If everything works as
planned then there will be space for DS posters.
Especially if we are talking about 9 posters only. I will
come back to you with an information about space for
posters by midth of next week. Until then you can decide
if posters for DS students are an option for you.
Dear Anja,

I don't think that we have an "agreement" in the sense of
having actively discussed this issue yet, but my view is
that - if there are enough spaces in the official poster
session (and potentially the accompanying slot in the
1-minute-madness session, if we have one again this year) -
we should offer PhD students the option to display their
poster as widely as possible. We are talking about 9 posters
for the DC.

Max/Nadir, what do you think?
I was wondering if doctoral researchers will only
participate in the doctoral school or if they will also
present their research in form of a poster. We had
doctoral student posters last year. It was nice, but there
were not many people providing feedback.

What did you agree on? Did you already made a decision and
told the doctoral students?
Depending on your decision, we might need to talk about
the poster sessions, time slots etc.
